Barbara Ceccarelli

Barbara Ceccarelli is the Executive Director of CAH (Les Centres d’Accueil Heritage), a not for profit organization that provides affordable and supportive housing, as well as community support services, to Toronto's aging francophone population and their caregivers. Barbara trained as a nurse and has long worked in the management of complex humanitarian medical interventions in crisis and conflict contexts. Barbara joined CAH in 2012 as Deputy Executive Director and took over as CEO in 2018. Barbara has a real passion for quality improvement as well as for implementing an inclusive and safe working environment. Barbara is a strong advocate for health equity and access to French language services and sits on various advisory groups to promote the expansion of a coordinate service delivery approach that can truly support aging at home also for those living with dementia.
