Chrystal Toop

Chrystal Toop is an Anishinaabe aadizookewininiikwe (storyteller) matriarch and a proud member of the Algonquins of Pikwakanagan First Nation. Through her humble community healing practice known as Blackbird Medicines, she continues to champion community resilience and share stories rooted in honoring lived experiences and advocating for harm reduction and trauma-informed care.
