Janice McGurran

Janice brings senior-level experience across public, private and not-for-profit sectors with a strong background of overseeing all aspects of Human Resources. Her career includes impactful work with diverse groups at organizations such as CNIB, Kids Help Phone, Hydro, as well as municipal and provincial government. She has pursued education through the University of Toronto, Queen’s and York Universities completing coursework in Industrial Relations, Psychology, Business Leadership, reaching (including adult learning ), Indigenous Cultures and legal frameworks (legislation, common law). Janice also brings extensive Board and Committee experience including Ontario Trillium Foundation, Hospital Board, Council of the College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers of Ontario, the Ontario Provincial Citizens’ Council, and a Women’s Shelter Board. She has also represented Hydro at forums in the US. She remains committed to the principles of fairness, empowerment and community service.
