Departure of Dr. Kiran Rabheru

The International Longevity Centre Canada (ILCC) announces the departure of Dr. Kiran Rabheru from both ILCC and the International Longevity Centre Global Alliance (ILC GA). As Board Chair of ILCC for over twelve years, Dr. Rabheru made significant contributions to our shared mission of advancing longevity and promoting the rights and well-being of older persons. We are grateful for his leadership and commitment to strengthening ILCC’s work and impact.

During his tenure with ILCC, Dr. Rabheru played a pivotal role in the establishment of the Canadian Coalition Against Ageism—an important milestone that has enhanced advocacy efforts and fostered greater collaboration across Canada. His dedication to advancing the rights and well-being of older Canadians has been both impactful and inspiring to colleagues and partners alike.

Dr. Rabheru will be taking on a new role as Lead of the Global Alliance for Rights-Based Care and Support of Older Persons. We congratulate him on this appointment.
