Want to shape a Canada where older women’s voices matter?
Join our Project Advisory Committee.
The International Longevity Centre is building a Project Advisory Committee to tackle ageist barriers in housing, health, care & income systems. See the full description here.
We’re looking for people living in Canada from all backgrounds - especially Indigenous women, racialized women, and those facing poverty or barriers. Lived experience or knowledge related to ageing, gender equality, or social justice is an asset.
At least 50% of the Committee will be made up of racialized and low-income women. We will also aim for a mix of regions and experiences.
What you’ll do:
✓ Guide policy recommendations
✓ Ensure older women’s voices are heard
✓ Support collaboration between ILC Canada, community partners and older women
✓ Help raise awareness about ageism and the rights of older women in Canada
✓ Meet virtually every 2 months through 2027
This isn’t just another committee. This is about creating real change for older women across Canada.
