This ageism consultation brought together participants from across Canada in an online format to share perspectives on ageism, with a focus on lived experiences and priorities for action. The session was designed to center the voices of older persons and inform ongoing efforts to advance dignity, human rights, and inclusion. Hosted by the Canadian Coalition Against Ageism (CCAA) a program of the International Longevity Centre (ILC) Canada, this virtual consultation on Zoom brought together many different stakeholders across various backgrounds to share lived experiences of ageism, explore its intersection with other forms of discrimination, and identify priorities and practical actions to advance the rights, dignity, and inclusion of older persons in Canada.
