Ageism Consultations
Ageism consultations are hosted by the Canadian Coalition Against Ageism (CCAA), an initiative of the International Longevity Centre Canada (ILC Canada).
The goal of the consultations are to:
Strengthen understanding of ageism and its intersections with other forms of discrimination.
Engage participants in shaping the next phase of the CCAA’s national campaign.
Introduce the new Ageism Awareness Module and Toolkit, designed for public education and intergenerational action.
Centre the voices and experiences of older persons, including members of the Ambassadors Table.

CCAA and ILCC hosted a panel discussion and workshop in Vancouver in October 2025 on what ageism is, how and where it manifests, the impacts on older people in our society and in particular older women, and tools to address ageism.
